My A700

Hi all, some names I know from dpreview. I haven't been there as much lately....to much in fighting. I really want to learn not fight, so I have been lurking here for a little while and thought it is time to post.

I have my A700 for a few weeks now. I Ebayed my F828 and A100 so I made about half the cost of the body of the 700. I had my F828 for 4-5 years and I knew that camera inside out and backwards. When I got the A100 I purchased a bunch of lenses, so I am set in that area. I sold the A100 because I just didn't like the feel of it and the location of some dials, etc. I do love the 700 and look forward to learning all I can about this camera before our cruise to Alaska in July.

Sorry this is long. I am trying to practice on my macro's with flowers in the house since there is nothing outside to take photo's of....a very ugly winter here, not even snow. I feel like I have been doing things right, but I am not as happy with them as I was with my 828. I know I need practice. I just think I am overwhelmed by all these lenses and need to sell off one or two.....the beercan will be first. Is there anyway a person new to the DSLR world or any SLR can keep it simple. Should I just take one lens and use that for like a month until I have it down ?? I thank anyone who has read this for taking the time and I am not sure what I am even looking for !! LOL
