Barn black and white: for critique

Hi all,

Here is a black and white image that I took on a recent photoshoot. I was attracted to the tones and textures in the image, especially with the moody sky. I'm posting now as I wasn't able to enter the comp, any C+C would be welcomed ;-)

Some shots from today, had to test the lens I just bought (2nd hand, near mint condition, no scratches, fungus, came with the original box etc. 80EUR).

I just wanted to play a bit with the LightRoom. :D

Black and White Project:

A bit ago I posted a little memo about a project I have been working on with the A200.

Basically I am challenging myself to try something totally new to B/W (for my normal style). Ignoring my own compositional, exposure, and "safe" guidelines, I am out for a gritty, different, emotive sort of feel to the images.

My rules are prime lens only, b/w only, shoot one handed only (that means no tripod), higher ISO for more film like look etc.

Here is one I decided to share midway through the project. Shot this morning from a moving car (don't try this at home please).

Thought I would share some phots that tend to do better in B&W because there isn't much color especially the swamp which is too green...fall is the best time for swamp photos...three cameras at three different times...
