I have been an amature photographer for a while now, firstly buying a new F 828 and now recently upgrading to a A700 with the twin lens kit supplied as part of the package..

I have been amazed at some panaramic photos with such high pixel numbers (14700x3200)..

How is this achieved... what type of camera / lens/ software are used to produce these..?

This is still a work in process - but it's close enough to show - it's a Pano of about 5 images stitched together. This is looking over the World Trade Center site, at Sunset.
