Sigma 24-70 ex dg

Ullswater black and white.

Hi all,

Finally getting round to editing and then sharing some more of my photos from my trip to the Lake District in late September. This was taken on a rainy and dull day and we were sheltering from the rain a lot! I wanted to make something of the sky which seemed rather dark and menacing.

The image was processed in both Aperture and Photoshop elements where a DxO film pack was applied (Ilford Pan F). The image was also dodged and burned to bring out the contrast.

Thanks for looking.

Lake District: Photo from a recent trip.

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd share this photo from a recent trip to the Lake District. The weather was pretty bad on our trip and unfortunately we had to cut it short due to the rain! This photo was taken with a KM5D and Sigma 24-70mm lens whilst I was sheltering both it and myself under an umbrella..... very difficult when trying to compose a photo ;-)

PP was simple, Aperture for raw conversion and tweaking of colours, contrast and white balance. DxO film pack to give the image a more authentic look (Fuji Velvia film pack applied at 85% opacity).

Barn black and white: for critique

Hi all,

Here is a black and white image that I took on a recent photoshoot. I was attracted to the tones and textures in the image, especially with the moody sky. I'm posting now as I wasn't able to enter the comp, any C+C would be welcomed ;-)

Mopar Euro Nationals.

Hi all,

Here are some photos I took over the weekend whilst I was covering the Mopar Euro Nats at Santa Pod. I took the A300 and 5D along, but never touched the 5D. The A300 performed perfectly and got me some really nice shots. I was using the Beercan and Sigma 24-70mm for these shots. Let me know what you all think, C+C welcome as always.

Wells Next the Sea: Sunrise

Hi all,

This is one of the images I took on a recent trip to Wells Next the Sea in the UK. I went on a trip with two other photographers- both shooting Canon- boo... Anyway, a good time was had by all and I came away with several images that I'm pleased with- this being one of them.
