I think this is info. However, I can not say without some reasonable doubt, that what David has posted is the truth. So much speculation has been made about this camera. If I were a gambling man, I would bet on this.

David was posting that 8/14 would likely be the release date...
I'm sure this is "news", but I'm not sure David is as "in touch" as he used to be, or that some others are.
It should be here a few days, or possibly 1-2 weeks before the big show...not much sooner I dun think.
Interested in trying out a lens or using some G glass?

careful to read into to much talk on DPR and other sites. I only know of one other person on all the forums who really knows anything and he is keeping his lips sealed as I am.
IMO Sony has said it best when they talked about the A900's development.
They eluded to keeping expectations reasonable, and I think that is a VERY..good idea.
