Experience with Billingham?

Experience with Billingham?

So I believe that I have settled on the kit that I am going to be putting together for my a700, now I just need to find a bag that will last for a while. Ultimatly I am going to have the a700 and grip with 24-105mm, 70-300mm G, Lensbaby Composer, 28mm, and the HVL-58 flash. Right now I am intreagued by the Billingham Presstop 206 and wondering if anyone has or is currently using a Billingham bag and what they think of it(is it worth the cost, how well does it withstand the elements and how well it holds up). Also if you have another suggestion for a camera bag for me please let me know as I am open to suggestions.

For the lenses you list ...Perhaps you could consider a slingshot/sling-style bag, too. Perhaps something like the Lowepro Slingshot 200 or 300.

Also, some companies are making dual laptop / camera bags - useful if you bring a laptop when you travel. That way you don't have to pack a laptop bag and a camera bag - just one bag. I've been looking into a Lowepro Fastpack.

I don't have any hands on experience with the Billingham. However, they seem to have a great reputation. If I wanted that style of bag, I would certainly include a Billingham in my short list.

Thank you for the

Thank you for the suggestions. I am open to the sling style and had looked at the new Kata 3n1 sling bags, however the Billingham looks quite professional and seems like it would work well as a working photographers bag. The only downside to the Billingham is that it costs $200 more than the Kata and I am not sure if it is worth the premium being charged and also if it would attract more thieves.
