Sigma must be out of there minds. Who would pay this kind of money for this lens?

Hi Dan,
Seeing as it's running alongside the current lens it's obvious that Sigma are trying to position this lens above the current one and go after the likes of the Nikon 12-24 f4 - that's around £700 so as long as the performance is good it may work.
I've always liked the original 10-20 as it's quite sharp when stopped down a bit!

Wow.. I was waiting around to see what price point they were going to put on the f3.5 with thoughts of selling off my original 10-20mm... guess I will just stick with what I have got right now. Though they are going for around $679 on Amazon.com (though no Sony/Minolta mounts yet).
