Where Do You Live? Can you share a bit about it?
I don't recall seeing this posted here yet. It was done at another sight and was very very interesting to see where all the members live at. It usually shows how the WWW has made the global community a bit closer and IMHO a lot friendlier.
So I will start:
I live in Gainesville, Florida USA it is about the middle of the state with a 60 mile drive east or west to reach the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico (my favorite just like a hot sauna in late summer) and the Atlantic Ocean. Miami is six hours driving south and Atlanta is six hours driving north on the I-75 interstate highway.
My home is a small homestead farm and the city is most well known as the home of the University of Florida, from which I graduated in 1978 and then decided to make the area my home town. The area is rural farmland and lots of Pine tree forest for the lumber and pulpwood industries. We have many wonderful lakes and springs to swim in and lots of wild swamp, Cypress tree bay heads and Pine flat wood forest to explore and enjoy.
There I've started so share what you want to and you don't have to give any details at all.

I am living in an extremely small city called Middlesboro, KY. If you point to the spot where TN, KY, and VA meet, thats it. Middlesboro was formed by a meteor crashing and creating a crater. Thus we are in Crater City. It's about 2.5 hours south of Lexington, and about 1.5 hours north of Knoxville. I am a transplant from Columbus Ohio. I AM A BUCKEYE! GO BUCKS! Its VERY rural here. If you are ever in the area there are alot of great hiking trails, lakes, and rivers that are a lot of fun to explore and photograph.

In Europe, The Netherlands and the city is "Den Haag". ("The Hague" in English.)
In my city we have the parlement buildings. For us it's a pretty big city with all the problems that come with it.
So lots of buildings. (ggrr, would love to have more nature)
Pretty close to the North Sea, as "Scheveningen" is more or less a part off The Hague and Schevingen is beachside and has a small harbour.
I live pretty close by the city-centre. (10 min. away) The coast is about 15 min. away.
But, when the weather is nice, you don't want to go to the beach. So crowded, as we say, "you can walk on top of the people"(free translation)
Area near "Central Station".
Some of the old buildings stil stand. This is in the city centre, but not many people know it and seen the inside.
