Image size lock
Anyone ever used the image size lock on Dynax or Maxxum with xi lenses? Seems such a great idea I am thinking I might use it on a 700si.
The older I get the better I used to be.

And, since I am new to the film side of Minolta, what feature is this?

Hi Carl,
I might be completely wrong here, but I believe it was a feature that enabled you to keep a subject the same size as it moved around in the frame- with the lens zooming in and out. If I'm correct then it seems like a really cool feature. I kinda like the way the Xi lenses work, I got the chance to have a play with one the other day at work on a customer's camera and it's quite a convenient way to zoom and focus.
Cheers
Andrew
On the 700si with xi power zoom lenses there is a feature which automatically zooms the lens to keep the in focus subject the same size as it moves. I always wanted to use it but I could nver afford the equipment, now if I buy second hand I could afford it. The 700si is such a great camera.
