3 Recent Shots with the A700
I have been busy of late and have gotten behind on my post work. I also spent a few days reorganizing and backing up all of my images...
I will hopefully get caught up with commenting on all of the amazing images that I have seen posted recently...
Here are couple from last week and over the weekend...
Feedback appreciated...
Thanks - Hapster

Good shots of your daughter, you seem to have great timing with her expressions (which to me is half of portraiture) .... she is really going to appreciate all these pictures one day.
And I like what you are doing with your nighttime work. This is an interesting mono. The lighting kinda sucks you into it, and the framing is really good. A bit of repetition and lightplay, I like it.

whole lot easier...
I was thinking about doing a whole series of night shots of the Wawas that I tour, in both B&W and color, along with some of the other sites I see in my nocturnal travels, like the Boat House Row image... I have also been think about doing a series of shots with a different Wawa every hour for 24 hours, though not in the same day...
Here is the catch - yes she did catch one. She told me it was "cute" and then asked to have it thrown back...

Cool idea on the gas station.
As to that beauty. Very nice shots of her, but looks like she got a dad special on the hair. That is an exact copy of my handiwork.

Hi Hapster
These are great, you certainly captured the moment in these images. The Beercan has produced some excellent bokeh, which combined with your daughter's expression and your skill, has produced images that she will definitely thank you for later in life.
The black and white shot of the Gas station is super, I like the contrast between the light and dark, and I think the panoramic framing really suits the image. I like the idea of doing one shot for each of the 24hrs in a day- that sounds really cool, and could make a great project.
Cheers
Andrew
