Mark, thank you for gracing us with your presence

And even new shots there at that! :)

I of course love them all, my favorite is the very last shot.

I find the composition remarkable. The way you took that composition makes the subject gives it a sense it is bigger and "stronger" than the mountains in the background. I love how you centered the peak looking through the rock, not only does it seem intentional, but completes the story of the image for me.

I can and do learn a lot from your landscapes Mark. Almost leave me speechless (but I can talk A LOT)

-Cheers to you and welcome aboard!

Carl

wow, great death valley photos

Wow Mark those are really stellar, it's hard for me to decide which I like best. I think #1,#2, #3, #5 are the best, with #1 and #2 being the best of those.

I have a family member who is a big fan of death valley, has been going since I was a kid. I've seen many publications with pictures of death valley, I think a lot of pictures many haven't seen. Yet these are still some of the best.

thanks for sharing those, very nice galleries you have too by the way, I like your Arizona photos a lot.

FireFox exif viewer

Hi Muizen, yes aren't those great shots. Just in case it's helpful, if you use Firefox it has several exif viewer addons. Once installed you can just do a right click on the image to get the exif data, very handy :)

My favorite is this one
http://lifehacker.com/software/featured-firefox-extension/view-exif-data...

Or direct home page here
http://ted.mielczarek.org/code/mozilla/fxif/

Just right click on any image, choose properties, and it shows the exif data.
