I took the 70-300 G
out for a spin yesterday. It was raining on and off and the colors were a little flat but I still got a few shots worth keeping. C&C welome.

Hi Dan,
I like these a lot. The more I'm seeing of the G the more I want one ;-) You are too true about the colour, it's something else! Really like the first image. The bokeh works well and helps the birds stand out. Very last shot is nice too.
A little CC if I may: Images 2 and 3 are very good and quite similar. For me I like the framing and positioning of the tree in the third image better. The colours and exposure are spot on in all too.
