Saw this lizard on a hike this morning. Pretty colors.

I believe that is called a Collard Lizard

Yes, I live in Tucson, AZ, so lots of lizards here even in my backyard. You got my curiosity up so I did some research and it turns out this lizard is the Greater Earless Lizard (Cophosaurus texanus). Link here: http://www.arts.arizona.edu/herp/COTE.html
