LOL... I was probably in one of the buildings a block or two over or on the streets north of you when you took that shot. I came ill prepared for the air show. You weren't by any chance doing some shooting from the beach with a Konica-Minolta DSLR?
Sony A700, Sony A100(sold), Maxxum 7xi, and Maxxum 700si.
Nah ... I wasn't going to get anywhere near that area. I can honestly say, "Been there, down that." You really have to love crowds and long lines to appreciate being in the middle of North Avenue Beach. LOL
I went up to "Big John" to try something entirely different. Unfortunately, they didn't clean the windows to a level that would have been conducive to good photography. I figure if you are going to advertise coming up to the observation level for $15 a head ... they could have at least done the glass of the observatory and the restaurant just above it. Oh well. Plus, the protective glass windows tend to screw up the lens focus.
Next year, I'm going to find someone with a balconey, nearer to the beach. It was pretty cool from up there, though.
