A couple of flower/plant images taken last month.
Hi all,
Here are two images I took last month with the A300 and Minolta 70-210mm 'Beercan' lens. These were taken with the camera low down to the ground on a tripod, as such I made good use of the live view on the A300.
I have processed them lightly in Aperture with the main alterations being the crop in the first image with a slight reduction in vibrancy and a small vignette added. The last image is pretty much a straight conversion.
Cheers and thanks for looking.

looks very lush and clean shot with good exposure, I like your chosen depth of field too.
I gotta get a beercan :)

Hi Eric,
Thanks for the comments there, I really appreciate them. The first image had a bit of a reduction in the vibrancy- like I mentioned but otherwise is pretty much 'out of camera'. Getting the correct exposure is a piece of cake with the A300 (or A350 for that matter), the metering is very accurate in the ovf mode, but in live view you can see the result before you shoot and can make the necessary adjustments.
The bokeh from the beercan is sweet. Like I said, get a beercan-or better still use Carl's ;-) You'll love it.
Cheers
Andrew
