in Coventry RI. and about 200 feet from the back of my house.
I do pass by some nice ponds traveling on Flat River road. But the I never stop because we are usually running late on getting to parties on the other end of 117. No time for sightseeing.

Hi Dan
Cool shots. You are SO LUCKY if you have a back yard/local environment like this. These shots are gorgeous- great light and a stunning location. Makes me a little frustrated for living in the middle of a town :-)

Nice 'backyard' Dan, great shots
You're going to make people want to move to RI with all these you're posting :)
I especially like the third, but all three very nice. I think you did a great job with the focal length too, looks wide but with complete, multi layered depth - if you know what I mean. I know at least for me that's quite often hard to do.
thanks for posting those

Dan, these are superb. A step above your other shots of late I might add as well.
Fantastic contrast and compositions, color all of it. Hard picking a favorite, my goodness.

I live in Green ,western Coventry near the Ct. RI. state line.
I just love early light.
Beautiful and, for me, evocative of my years in Amherst, Mass.
Both the color and the light are wonderful.
As I get ready to purchase my Sony I'd love to know the camera, lens, and settings you used.
Thanks.
