Felix... another cat photo.
Hi all,
Haven't seen that many cat photos on the site yet, so here's one from me! It's an image of my pet cat Felix and was taken on my trusty KM5D and Sigma 55-200 mm lens (was taken before I got the beercan). I was experimenting a bit with flash, so used a 3600 HSD bounced off the ceiling.
Image hosted on my flickr site (www.flickr.com/photos/woodyjnr)
What do you think? Any comments welcome.
Cheers

Felix looks like cool cat, actually nice bokeh on this shot though and color. Someday I would like to put the 5D/7D head to head vs A700 and compare the same shot, mainly for color. Be interesting to see side by side the 'km color' to sonys. All I know is there certainly does indeed to be something just right about the color produced with the kms.
Speaking of cats, Carl has quite a few photos himself actually. His cat seems to think he's a male model sometimes :-D
thanks for posting this up

Hi Eric,
Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it.
You are correct about the colour that the KMs produce. They seem to have a certain something to it, I have just purchased an A300 as my 5D is showing signs of 'First Black Frame'. So far I'm very impressed with the consistency of the metering (something the 5D wasn't known for) and also the general responsiveness of the camera.
Still a little undecided on the out of camera colours though- they're nice, but different to what I'm used to.
Cheers for the comments and feedback,
Andrew
