First try-Bubbles

First try-Bubbles

Second image is not a cloned bubble, I just desaturated the
surrounding areas.

Only my second color on mono conversion ever. I
thought this was appropriate, pretty pleased with that one.

Pretty fun, I gotta do this more. :)

Cheers,
Carl

Oh btw, both shot with Sony 35mm 1.4G (review coming!)

I like them both. I might slightly prefer the first one though.

Could be interesting to see what you could intentionally get reflected in the bubble while you're shooting.

Looks great. I like no. 2.

Looks great. I like no. 2. Will have to try this.

Both are cool shots.

Hi Carl,

I like both of these photos, the mono and colour image is very clever, and the editing expertly done. I think I prefer the framing in the first one- the second shot seems a bit open. Perhaps a tighter crop would give it more impact. On the first shot, was it shot using the 16-9 crop mode, or cropped post shoot?

Cool idea though, I may have to try it someday.
