The rest are really nice as well, I think that top one is especially neat. Is that just a normal home in the trees in the foreground?

Thanks Eric. It's an old abandoned farmhouse near the apple orchard. A place where I will revisit this coming autumn for sure.
Dan
Excellent photos Dan as usual, I agree with Eric the top photo is stunning and the bottom two are great. Out of the bottom two I prefer the last one- something about the colours there.
Cheers

That first one really put a smile on my face.
Nice series!
I can see Barry having a great time in this area, for some reason. Hey, where is that guy anyways? :)~

These pics are the last ones I will take with my Sony 75-300 mm 4.5-5.6 I will be using the new 70-300 G . It will be here tomorrow.
I love to do scenery shots using a long lens. It gives the photo the feeling
of great depth and dimension.
Dan
Hi Dan,
The 75-300mm lens does seem to get a lot of bad press, but from the photos your posting it's clearly capable of good results. Obviously the new one is going to be better (it's a G after all), but for the price the old 75-300 doesn't seem all that bad.
I agree with what you say about long lenses and landscapes, helps create depth and also helps with isolating certain parts of an image.
Cheers
Andrew
