Love the sunlight on the deer Dan. It makes for a great touch.

That's an excellent capture. Did you come across the deer by luck or do you know where they congregate in the mornings? What ISO speed did you use?
Sony A700, Sony A100(sold), Maxxum 7xi, and Maxxum 700si.
Great shot Dan.
I'd guess you got about 1 or 2 tries tops here? Just a guess though.

Hi Dan, great picture, love the light and colors.

ISO 400 @250sec. 300mm. 70-300G hand held. Lighting was poor and I didn't have much time to make adjustments. Got off three shots. I can go out any morning on any day at different locations and see deer in the early hrs. The 70-300G is very slow to focus in low light, but it doesn't hunt like the Sony 75-300mm .
Dan
Thanks Jasper

Beautiful work, man. Poor thing almost looks undernourished :P
Sony Alpha 200, 18-70mm kit lens, 50mm f/1.7, 70-210 f/4 beercan (as of 07/05, whooo!!!)
That's really a beautiful shot almost surreal, very nice work.

to shoot early in the morning.
Thanks Eric.
Whats going on Eric? I haven't seen any new pics from you. You got to get out their and start shooting again. All work and no play is not good for the mind or body.
Dan
Haha thanks yeh I need to, I injured my ankle pretty good, so for a few more weeks still kinda eliminated any photographing for me. I mostly only care about shooting outdoors, not stuff inside. soon though :)
