Made it into the "G" club...
I must say that if a lens can be called gorgeous this is it...i can't hear the focus motor at all...this is the lens I have been waiting for...I now see why everyone has so much enthusiasm surrounding this lens. Like all lenses it will have a learning curve.
I snapped a few shots but the light was going down quickly so don't judge too harshly...

I can honestly say that with this lens I am no longer jealous of anything Canikon has to offer...and it is exclusive to Sony/Minolta users...
I hope to go to the zoo this weekend and give it a better workout...
