Those rare flowers are in bloom right now here in the northwest. It's a neighbors plant that climb up over our fence. And the ants loves it - there must be something very sweet in there.
(Been looking over the net for a free flowers & bugs/insects name guide but found none so far)

It looks like a Trumpet Vine and Flower. They are very common here in Texas.
You got it right, rg! It's called Trumpet Vine/Creeper or Cow-itch, etc.
