Sarah's Pet

Sarah's Pet

She brought it inside and wanted to keep as a pet. I said OK, only if I could take some shots. LOL.

Both taken with the Sigma 24-70mm in a homemade lightbox, with a lamp to camera left and my old Quantaray flash on camera, set to 1/16th power. I am still feeling my way around these types of shots.

Great photos, nice pet ;-)

Hi Royston,

These are a nice set, I think you have done really well here. I especially like the first image. The exposure is spot on, and the shape of the caterpillar is appealing.

Cheers
Andrew

Thanks Andrew, I actually

Thanks Andrew, I actually switched to manual focus on these, if I remember correctly. I may try again with a black background, if the bugger survived my daughter's constant shaking to see where he is.
