The really vibrant colors came from applying a film profile in DXO. They weren't quite that punchy out of the camera.

Thanks! I liked the way the clouds in the third one bowed downward towards the ground. All these clouds provided was a light drizzle, but I am sure that didn't help the flooding in Iowa.

Great images you've got there. It's amazing that it didn't amount to much rain wise- they sure look menacing. The 3rd photo is especially nice with deep and dark brooding clouds. That last shot is stunning, the colours are great and the rays are kinda cool- not seen many images like that! I think your choice of crop helps with it too.
