The BP van.

Hi all,

Great new forum... really cool idea, I'm sure there are many people who post here who have a good P+S as a backup to their A mount gear, now they will be able to post the shots they take with them.

Here are a couple of images I took a month or so back on the Canon G9. It was kind of an impromptu shot where it had just finished raining and I spotted the potential for the shot. Anyway, here they are, hope you like them.

Nice shots all!

Glad you enjoy the new forum. I am glad you think it is a good idea, really glad.

I say that photography should come first, then gear in priority. Both are important but the first is the first.

Not all of us use just Sony/Minolta equipment hence the motivation for the forum.

I hope it gets used quite a bit!

Carl

thats exactly what i believe

couldn't agree more with you Carl , i think some of us get to hung up on what gear we need or can afford. the beauty of the camera is the shots we achieve no matter what level of photographer we are or what gear we have, me i am broke and cant afford much but achieve reasonable results with so called basic gear (i think), forget keeping up with the rest the best camera wont help if you cant take a photo to start with . sorry get a bit miffed seeing so many spend so much to achieve no more than others who spend far less.

Dave

I like the top van

I like the exposure and the way you've composed it looks nicely exposed and balanced.

Nice fuji pics, great lightning shot

Were you setup with a tripod I assume on the lightning shot or no? That's quite nice I like that.

Cool shot of the chevy too, looks like the fuji does well for itself, I've noticed they do seem to review quite well in general.
