Ricoh R8-(2 sample images)
In my "quest for the best" compact/full featured cameras for a backup to my Alpha DSLR's, I start with the Ricoh R8.
I want to see if anything can beat the SONY V3 ;)
Here are a couple of samples I thought weren't bad. Imager is noisy, but actually less than I thought it would be. If you keep the ISO down, detail is actually impressive considering the density of the pixels on this CCD (36MP per sq. CM, thats dense!).

What happened to the R8, has it found a new ebay home after the GX-200???
The GX200 is taking up all of my spare time shooting and testing and writing so, It went to a good friend whom I knew could use it well. It's within grasp if I need it :)
