Sony compacts, are there more this year?
I honestly don't know. (Aren't able to keep up with that too)
It would be neat to see if they have more in store at photokina, and with the release rate and speed of engineering they often show, I doubt we have seen the last of new compact news from Sony this year.
Any speculations or news anyone can share?

Who knows ;-) Guess only Sony know for sure, but there was a lot of rumours about today (14th) - we shall see. I think they have quite a good line up at the moment (still missing a truly high end compact), one area that they need to work on IMHO is the very entry level cameras. The S730 Cybershot for example is perfectly nice and useable, but still runs on AA batteries. Most of it's competitors have switched to Li-ion batteries, this is one are where is falls down that and the fact it has no stabilisation or face detection. Most of the other cameras at similar prices have all the aforementioned features, the S730 has got great IQ for an entry compact though...
Would be really nice if they have a V3 successor at Photokina...
