Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 on A850/900?
Hey guys and gals that are owners of the A850/900... have you tried this lens on the full frame body yet?
If you have-
Curious- does either camera automatically switch to APS-C crop mode when this lens is attached? (I'd think not)
And how bad is the vignetting in the viewfinder- etc. ?
Thanks in advance, I haven't tried it out yet on the big bodies.

although I'd be asking about the 17-70. Seems that a lot of people are seeking a deal on a 28-70 or 24-70 for their FF, and was thinking that a DT-unaware Sigma could make an acceptable 28-70 f/3.5-4.5 with bonus features. Sure would be lighter than those Zeiss beasts! The 17-50 would be an equivalent test, so those results would definitely be interesting to hear.
I've already offered to let someone send me their FF body for a "week" of testing with my 17-70, and am checking my mailbox eagerly.. (I won't waste time on my inbox, I'm sure it's filled with offers by now :^)
