A700@ Best Buy
I finally found me an A700 @ Best Buy and it wasn't easy. After calling 10 stores and receiving bad information, I talked to someone who got me on the right track. There are still 2 NIB in Myrtle Beach, SC @ $959. I went to my local store to arrange transfer and noticed that there was 1 NIB showing in Augusta, Ga @ $839. I had called Augusta last week and was told that they did not have any. Of course arrangements were made for transfer from Augusta. It will arrive this week-end. I am upgrading from an A100. I purchased it on the day it was introduced July 2006. I have not had a problem with it and it is performing like a champ. I ordered the Tamrom 90mm/2.8 from Adorama last week but it is on back order. I'm new to Alpha Mount World and will soon be submitting photos. I enjoy reading the forums and comments. Thanks

that's great you were able to find one, I think it will be well worth the extra work to get one for that price. That's much cheaper than most of us paid, except for the rest who got the best buy deal. You're really going to like the a700 I think.

What a deal you got. I paid $1350 and that was before sales tax. I can never wait for the price to come down on anything when something new comes out. I always have to have it by yesterday. LOL .
