Deciding between A300 and A350
I'm debating between getting the A300 and the A350. It seems like the primary differences are the 10MP on the A300 vs the 14MP on the A350. And because of that the Image Burst Mode is slower on the A350.
My question, if I bought the A350 and set the image quality to capture at ~10MP, I would assume that I would get about the same Image Burst speeds on the A350 that I would get on the A300... am I right?
Any other thoughts? The camera would be primarily used to take pictures of my kids (infants now, but they will grow)
Thanks in advance?

Hi jschwartz73 and welcome to AMW.
Both the A300 and A350 are nice cameras and choosing between them is a tough choice. You are correct in assuming that the main difference between the A300 and A350 is the resolution (10mp vs 14mp), the continuous shooting is also slower at 2.5 fps on the A350. Changing the files size down to 10mp will not make the A350 have a faster burst/fps.
For what you have said you will be using the camera for (photos of your children) then the A300 will be more the sufficient in terms of resolution and speed. Also, unless you are going to invest in a better lens than the kit lens (SAL 18-70DT) you will struggle to see the difference.
We have a reviewed both the A300 and A350 here at AMW, have a read of the reviews and look at the samples too, that will allow you to see which of the two cameras provides the results you prefer.
