Quite a drop from when I first bought mine in Sept 2007, a full $400.00 off.
This makes the A700 even more competitive over the 50D. I'm guessing the price drop has to do with recent announcements, and general competitive price drops. Either way, a pretty good deal.
Just in case some didn't know.
