Super Steady Shot spoils you
I turned off SSS to do some work with a tripod and didn't remember to turn it back on when I was done. Needless to say, I was pretty annoyed when a series of shots came out blurry. I get so used to SSS that I take it for granted and forget what a difference it actually makes. Anyone have this trouble?

Hi Brian,
It's funny hearing how people become so accustomed to a certain feature. SSS/AS is one of those features that many (mostly canikon users) scoff at, but when you've used it, you do take it for granted as you say.
I was using my A300 on Saturday and did exactly the same thing, turned it off to use on a tripod, and then forgot to switch it back on. It wasn't too big an issue (luckily) as I was using the HVL-F42 AM flash. It's still flippin annoying though.

Ovlov,
I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. The first week of when I owned my A200 way back in early march, I had no idea about the SSS and I had it off and I hated how so many pictures came out badly. Then, I turned on and I just realized that I even had it. I can sleep well knowing my photos are protected by anyone's shaky hands that's using my camera.
