This is AlphaMountWorld's second video tutorial, and the first in our new series on Apple's Aperture. In this video tutorial we briefly explain what Aperture is and how it can help with your photography, and how to import photos into Aperture. These new videos will be around 10 minutes Êand will deal with only one or two topics, making them easier to follow.
Apple bolsters Aperture's appeal with plug-ins
In a move that will strengthen Aperture's position as a leading tool for professional photographers, Apple has announced support for plug-ins in Aperture. This is great news as it allows software developers to 'fill the gaps' in Aperture's already strong feature set.
Today Apple announced a web page where you can find all the current plug-ins for Aperture http://www.apple.com/aperture/resources/plugins.html at present there are more than 70 plug-ins for Aperture and this is sure to expand in the near future. The plug- ins include:
-Viveza from Nik software
-Noise Ninja from Picture Code
-PT Lens from ePaperPress
-Aperture Hot Folder 1.5 (a neat script that allows tethered shooting)
