Thank all of you for being patient for the results, and waiting for our judges to come to a final conclusion. Winners will be notified by email and prizes arranged accordingly, so we hope you have been keeping tabs on the contest and your emails (don't forget to check your spam folder!) If a winner does not respond to our email for the prize in a weeks time, we will award the the next in line of judging and move the next winner up. |  |
First place winner receives a $50.00 Amazon gift card, and the second place winner receives a $25.00 Amazon gift card. Our monthly prizes may vary each month.

Our First Place winner is nicstroccia with this lovely portrait of a smiling young lady, this photograph just warmed us over here and not to mention is full of color. Fantastic image and congratulations nicstroccia!
Our Second Place Winner is Ovlov with this beautifuly colorful shot of a playful feline. The colors compostion along with the added subjects such as the apples in the forground make for a striking image. Congratulations Ovlov!
Third Place belongs to eneuman, a striking winter landscape with excellent color and details. A beautiful image. Congrats on your third place showing eneuman!
Honorable mentions were certainly needed in this contest, as all of the images picked here all contended for placing in the top 3. We'd like to include them here in the contest as they are all excellent as well.

Holy smokes, I couldn't believe that I won when I opened up AMW this morning and what a fantastic surprise! There are so many incredible pictures posted here and I'm still in disbelief mine made it to the top. Keep shooting and I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's entries the next go around.

If you included anything with your image when you submitted it Nick, I certainly didn't remember reading it. This is amazing. Makes you being the winner all that more special, to a very very special girl. I am so delighted.
When doing the judging we pull the favorite images out of the contest and look them over for merit/emotive etc. They go into a pool that are judged over and over removed from anything that will distort the judging process.
In picking the winner, there was just something very special about this photograph, made even more special now that the story has been revealed to me.

Picking a winners, places, honorable mentions from the entries must have been an exhausting process! Those that made it to the top of the class deserve so much for reaching those dizzy heights!
Well done everyone... for the relatively short time I have been a member, this competition was just so enjoyable to watch and also most intriguing as it has possible revealed more about each of us than we realised!!!
