Shutterbug has a bit coming up in the June edition of ShutterBug magazine about the PMA presence of Sony, and has written a small piece on the A350 and the Flagship using the newer photographs of the Flagship for the article.

Sony World Photography Awards at Cannes 2008
The Sony World Photography Awards being held in Cannes, France, have ended and the Winners are announced.
This photo competition is the most prestigious and perhaps the most well known in the world. As we know, this year Sony surprised the entire photo community and took over sponsoring the event from Nikon for 2008. To sponsor this event is well respected within the entire photo community and bodes well for Sony's stated long term commitment in the DSLR industry.
Take a peek at the results, there is some excellent photography to be seen.

It will be interesting to see if Sony continues to sponsor this event annually.
Sony Alpha at PMA- The complete experience
Sony at PMA: A strong presence
As soon as I came down the escalator into the showroom floor and saw Sony's booth, I realized that I was in for a real treat (admittedly, this is my first PMA experience and my enthusiasm will show throughout my report). When I walked over to the front of the booth you see here, I realized what I had come for was on the other side. However, as I approached the booth the first display that I noticed was the "Long Lens" SSM display showing the 300mmG, 70-200G, and the brand new 70-300G (second shot) which seems to be perfectly paired with the A700.
Sony 55-200 at PMA: Up close look, more details revealed
Sony 55-200 at PMA, hands on report:
The Sony 55-200 has been an area of interest for me since I did the Tamron 55-200 review a couple months back (we will update our site with that review soon). There are claims from some sources that the Sony 55-200 has a more popular, larger diameter front element and, that it does not rotate like the Tamron model. This would be a more filter friendly feature (such as a polarizer).
Sony Announces Alpha A300 and A350 Live View DSLRS
As expected at today's PMA press conference, Sony has announced two brand new DSLRS, the Alpha A300 and A-350.
Sony aggressively enters 2008 with a new DSLR, and today it announces two more. The 14.2-megapixel Alpha A350 and 10.2 megapixel A300. These are also Sony's first entries in the Live View technology category, which promises to be the best way to resolve this technology to date on any DSLR brand.
Sony sounds off in 2008- A200, A300, A350, and two great looking lenses!
Been waiting for this for a while, have us? And as many can now see, Sony is really on the move. While Sony still has more to introduce this year, it looks like they are scoring a shutout so far. It isn't over yet folks.
A200 Announced at CES
Sony announces the Alpha A200 at CES

Key upgrades (and very important ones) to the A-100 are:
-$300.00 less out of your wallet upon release (and we're hoping...purses as well :) ).
-Much cleaner high ISO performance (less digital "noise grain" at each sensitivity setting), which early test images seem to confirm.
